Last Wednesday night we decided to have a family night since there was no date night last week. We went to the university lake and enjoyed ice cream from ninety's and walked around the lake a while. Jake enjoyed ''sharing'' ice cream with us. It was good just to be together! We are trying to think of more inexpensive things we can do together as a family these days. any suggestions are welcome!

It's so fun you all are doing Family Nights already! Since Joe is off on Mondays, we use the mornings that day as our "Family Day". Some of our regular Favs:
Feeding Ducks (at Davis Lake or University City Lake)
Park & Wagon Ride
Playing in the Fountains (Birkdale or Northlake)
The Play area at the Mall (Northlake or Concord Mills)
Ice Cream @ Chick-fil-a (our has a play area)
Pool (now we're setting up her baby pool in the
backyard since pools are closed)
Lazy5Ranch (more of a special occasion thing, about $5 a person, but Alathea LOVES it!)
We usually do one of those each Monday- they may not help since we live in a different area than you. Also Alathea is at an age where she LOVES to be active & play- and all of those things give her the opportunity to do so. Hope that helps...I hope to hear others ideas myself
